Former member of the DNC. Per Maine Democratic Party rules, she was removed from office after missing three consecutive State Committee meetings. At the January State Committee meeting, she lost her bid to be reseated to Rita Moran of Winthrop. Rita is not recognized by the Democratic National Committee due to a request by Arden Manning, Executive Director of the MDP, to keep Jennifer listed. At current, due to party rules, either Rita Moran is the DNC Woman (and thus the superdelegate), or the position is vacant. As a result, the Executive Director is in violation of party rules.

A motion to repeal Rita's election will be held at the State Committee Meeting to be held on March 16th. If the motion to repeal fails, her election will be certified and she will take her seat on the DNC. If the motion succeeds, there will be an election between Rita, Jennifer, and anyone else who desires to run for the seat.
